one of my favorite things about music is the process of collaboration. over the years, i have had the privilege of performing and recording with artists across all genres. take a listen to some of my favorite projects that i’ve been a part of.

Recent Work
one of the recent projects i’m especially excited about is the first solo release from jill ryan. jill has been one of my longest-running collaborators as the singer in my band, Great Time, where we’ve worked together since 2012. it was an incredible experience helping jill shape their vision for their own music, while exploring a collaborative process where they led creatively and i stepped into the role of producer and instrumentalist.
the majority of the track was recorded and produced at Great Time Studios in pennsylvania, with additional vocal and instrumental tracking done in LA at altamira, with the help of rob and carley.
i engineered, recorded, mixed and mastered the track using a combination of analog and digital synthesizers, real and sampled drums, as well as in the box and outside the box production techniques.
as with all the music i work on, i let the song’s story guide my production choices. from the first sound, like a homing beacon while lost at sea, to the way the chord progression mirrors the lyrical journey, building to a hopeful and uplifting final chorus, each element was intentional.
i hope you enjoy listening to this as much as i enjoyed working on it :)
